Federico Mazzini is professor of Contemporary History, Digital History, and History of Media and Communication at the University of Padua, and coordinator of the Digital Laboratory of Mobility Research at the same university. His work focused on the cultural history of the First World War, ("Cose de l'altro mondo," ETS 2013), and on the history of technoscientific popularization and technical cultures throughout the twentieth century. In 2021, with Carlotta Sorba, published "La svolta culturale" (Laterza). In 2023 published "Hackers. Storia e pratiche di una cultura" (Laterza). He is now working on the history of computers as cultural objects.
